    Vintage 1960 Pickett & Eckel metal slide rule.
    JUST LIKE THE ONES USED BY BUZZ ALDRIN AND THE APOLLO ASTRONAUTS!
    Pickett was an American manufacturer of slide rules characterized by all metal construction. As such they were chosen to be used by the Apollo astronauts on their mission to the moon, as they were lighter than their wood core counter parts.
    Unfortunately when the company folded they sold most of their rulers as scrap metal, so to find one in this shape is EXTREMELY RARE! The leather case comes as shown, with slight wear but otherwise MINT condition!
