Here we have a vintage slide chart type calculator for use with Wesix "Wiredheat" radiant heating wire. It is dated 1946. Radiant electric heating became very popular in residential construction after WWII and on into the 1960s. Our electrical contracting business installed this product in many new homes, offices, and commercial buildings during that time. This slide chart would enable the user to calculate how many feet of radiant heating wire would be required in each room. Wesix was one of many manufacturers that offered this product during that time.
This item is in good condition and slides freely.
