    We supply all of our canteens with an NBR gasket inside the cap to ensure you never have a leak. This is a Safe Zone exclusive and something you won't find in other canteens. Our NBR gaskets are chemically inert and have been tested for extended periods at twice the safe limit of Chlorine Dioxide and Tetraglycine Hydroperiodide, the most common chemicals used to make water potable. In addition, they remain pliable over a wide temperature range. We have tested them down to 10 F (12.22 C) where they remained flexible long after any water in the canteens would have frozen.
