Here you have a wonderful bit of VINTAGE HISTORICAL MEMORABILIA! Please...SEE THE SCANS! This is an original and vintage feature on the salvage process underway on the SS NORMANDIE! This appears in A COMPLETE 1943 ISSUE OF WORLD PROGRESS MAGAZINE: THE STANDARD QUARTERLY REVIEW. This two-page piece discusses the salvage process and cost. It includes one photo. World Progress measures 9 1/2 inches X 6 5/8. The publication gives a synopsis of what was happening in the world at the time in politics, sports, entertainment, war, industry, and more. THIS ISSUE ALSO HAS A PIECE ON THE JAPANESE ABANDONMENT and AMERICAN REOCCUPATION OF KISKA IN THE ALEUTIANS. This has a photo and a map. There is also a report on the THIRD WAR LOAN EFFORT with a photo of Hollywood stars gathered at the St Moritz Hotel in New York… The subjects are covered in each issue in alphabetical order. This is in nice shape; it has typical vintage edge and corner wear; this has two punch holes along the spine edge for a binder; THESE MAGAZINES WERE ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED THIS WAY TO PUT INTO BINDERS. This is not mint but very gently read and a tough find. It is a great piece FOR THE COLLECTOR! Take it home with you! GOOD LUCK! Please Check Out My Ebay Store for more great memorabilia! I am happy to send this to any country. 1st class air postage will be charged… More excellent packaging and free media mail shipping here in the United States! THANKS! n1099
