Meritas Mills Original Growth Heart Pine Lumber is located in beautiful historic Columbus, GA. Meritas was constructed in 1910 and the Bussey family has been deconstructing & selling decking and beams for the better part of 10 years to clients all around the southeast.  Meritas Heart Pine belongs to a category of wood called original growth, which is the oldest heart pine available. This means the trees that make up our wood started growing in the mid to late 17th century. Hopefully we will be able to provide you with original growth heart pine material for your upcoming projects. Meritas Mills is located in downtown Columbus, GA. (705 35th St) (Entrance is on the 38th St. or Apex Dr. side) and we suggest you contact us to arrange an appointment to visit the site.
That is the best and only way to really see what we have to offer. Our current stock of beams are 6" x 13.5" x 20' at .15/bd ft. We have 2 sizes of roof decking available:  2.5" x 7" at .35/bd ft and 1.75" x 7" at $.95/bd ft.  Both roof decking products are various lengths from 5 ft up to 19 ft.  Prices change often to adjust to market value. Round Posts are also available in 8" and 10" widths for & 0.  Base and Top Cast Iron Supports for these posts are 0 for the pair….that includes the top and bottom cast iron support.
