DESCRIPTION:
ITT Corporation was one of the former major electronic warfare companies – ITT Corporation became ITT Defense, which then became Exelis, and is now subsumed within Harris Corporation.
This Slide Rule was actually conceived at ArgoSystems, then came to Condor Systems when Condor purchased Argo.
Condor was in turn purchased by EDO Corporation, who in turn was purchased by ITT.
The calculator will calculate:
IFM Receiver Sensitivity using Bandwidth, Noise Figure, Video SNR
Superhet Receiver Sensitivity using IF Bandwidth, Noise Figure, Video SNR
Antenna Gain and Beamwidth relationships
Free Space Path Loss for a given RF and range
Received Power using Tx Power, RF, Path Loss
Total Path Loss for Low Altitude Propagation over Water
The slide rule is about 9 1/2 “in length
