If you'd like to know.. Provenance: I rescued this wonderful piece of Pickett history from an old house about to be demolished. The caterpillar- demo excavators  were outside the window roaring the engines. An entry fee to estate was  charged. It was a glorious hunt. The Utah estate was filled with old books, 1,000's of quart wide mouth canning jars, enough dishes for a soup kitchen & treasures everywhere. I had to pick what to carry out. I chose this. I was also able to rescue many antique books. Oh,  the thought of machinery folding in the sides of the house- scooping it all up and off to a landfill. Heartbreaking...The owner  was a kind, lean gentleman who wore a beret like a true French man.  He opened his home to feed homeless. A professor of Botany at a large University . He sadly met his demise on vacation from a dog bite. Very sad for man with a huge warm heart. Contributing to local humanitarian projects, doing his best to help others in need. I found him fascinating.
