Multor Circular Multiplication Slide Rule Made In W. Germany W/ Leather Pouch.
The face of this unique and rare slide rule is in great shape! The back of it is brass and shows heavy oxidation in places. The clear plastic cursor has a small bend near the pivot. It is unclear if this band is part of the manufacture, or occurred after. In any case it does not affect the function. There is a small hole in the center ring. It is possible that there is something missing from this hole, or it could be that it’s intended to use a pan or other stylus to turn the ring. Or this hole may have nothing to do with anything. I honestly don’t know. There is a small scratch next to the hole. Otherwise the face of the slide rule is in great shape! The leather pouch is simply two round pieces of leather stitched slightly more than halfway around. The front is stamped with the word MULTOR, the back says genuine leather west Germany. The slide rule is very small and only 3 1/2 inches across. Please see pictures to fully appreciate this awesome little calculator. Shipped with care through the United States Postal Service.
