    Description

Rare and authentic, circa 1860s-1880s painted wood trade sign. The color and surface are in such good shape, it must have been hanging somewhere that was well protected. There are square head nail holes that line up with the parts of the wood on the back that show the wood was covered where the nails held the sign up because it is lighter in color.
The bottom right corner looks like it is broken, but that was always like that because there is yellow paint on the edge from when they made the sign.
***Note: This item we have is an authentic antique, Guaranteed.
Measures about 48" long x 6" tall x 5/16" thick solid wood. There is a slight curve to the 4-foot long, thin board, but not bad at all.
