    Description

    Hemmi No. 251 'Mechanical Engineer' Slide Rule.
    Celluloid on bamboo.
    Duplex.
    19 scales x 25 cm, including DI, 3 log log.
    The first version of the 251 was made from 1951 to 1958.
    This is the 2nd version, made from 1958 to end of production in 1975.
    It has the positions of the DI and LL scales switched.
    It has date code JI (September 1959).
    Rule is in excellent condition. No blemishes. Clean and white.
    Metal parts are clean and bright.
    Slide and cursor move smoothly and easily.
    Hemmi hard cardboard slip cap case is very good. It has original end label.
    Its dark green finish
    shows a few scuffs.
