    Description

This outstanding and long awaiting work is a the first in a 5 volume series of books, bringing to the public in depth photographs and information of the British Soldier’s uniform and equipment of The Great War.  Over 200 pages of hi resolutions images in this first volume alone are supported by accurate data by the experienced collector and historian Chris Pollendine. The author has used his own collection and gathered artefacts from other of the worlds leading collectors to produce this mouth watering pictorial encyclopedia of headdress, tunics, webbing, footwear and ephemera.  The hardback presentation mirrors the Feldzug series and compliments it very well. The anniversary of the First World War will no doubt fill our media spectrum with a fruitful array of books, films and television programs but this valuable manuscript with enlighten the historian and collecting world to the finer details of garments and other now collectible memorabilia that the men who fought wore and used during the tragic years of 1914-18.
PLEASE READ OUR TERMS BEFORE BIDDING:
Missouri residents must add 4.75% sales tax.
We are glad to combine multiple purchases for savings on shipping.  If you purchase more than one item from us, please wait to pay until we send you an eBay invoice with the correct shipping amount.
We print the USPS postage through the eBay system, so your package will be shipped to you exactly as it appears in your eBay account. We will not ship to alternate addresses.  We have learned this the hard way, with a few bad apples asking to have items sent to a different address, claiming that they have moved, etc. then using PayPal and eBay to end up with both the item and the money.   If you really have moved recently, then you need to update your eBay and PayPal accounts.
    Payment:
We ask successful bidders to remit payment within 10 days of auction end.
    International Buyers
    – please note:
Import duties, taxes, and charges aren't included in the item price or postage cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. Customs forms are automatically filled out by ebay, and the value of an item cannot be changed in order to avoid customs fees.
    Questions:
We are glad to answer any questions you might have to the best of our ability, except for "What Size is it?" on historical uniforms.  (We sell uniforms as collectibles, not costumes.)  Otherwise, for all other questions ask away!  We will answer as soon as possible.  If we are out of the office or closed for the evening, we will answer as soon as we can after we return.
Is there a Buy It Now Price:
    No.
Sorry, but our office policy is to not end auctions early.
    Guarantee:
Fourteen day inspection period. Items may be returned a refund of the purchase price if you believe them not to be as described.  (Shipping charges are not refunded.)  The only exceptions are items that you alter - (don't 'clean', 'fix', or otherwise 'improve' an item and then return it) or uniform items returned for reasons of size.  We do not guarantee original items to fit you.
    Thanks for looking!
I hope that we can do business with you.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
