Description
This is an early 'Bond Automobile Coupon.' I believe that Bond was the distributor of the Wahl car. It is the size and shape of a stock certificate. It reads:This is to certify that Clyde E. Hoffman has duly paid to the Bond Automobile Company the sum of Fifty () Dollars, on account of the purchase price of a Bond Automobile.
The Bond Automobile Company hereby guarntees that this coupon, at any time within two years from the date hereof, when surrendered to any authorized distributor of Bond Automobiles, will entitle the holder hereof, or his assigns, to a credit of One Hundred (0) Dollars on the purchase of said automobile at the retail market price prevailing at the time of its surrender. No more than one coupon, however, may be applied to the purchase of any automobile.
It was issued on March 13th, 1924 and measures about 10.5" x 7". It is in generally clean condition with the original, vertical folds. It does not appear to have been cancelled or redeemed.
