    Description

    You're looking at a rare and early smaltz
    HARDWARE
    store trade sign dating to approx 1900 - 1920s. This rare piece was recently removed from the side of an old building where it had hung for 30+ years. Most of the sand paint has been worn away over time but it's an honest, complete piece that's spectacular in its originality. I wanted to treat the original frame with some Howard's to bring out the wood color but I chose to leave it original and let the new owner decide what direction to go aesthetically.
    The iron mounts are present. This item features wear commensurate with age including faded paint, worn wood, dings, dents, scratches etc. Structurally, it's solid and ready to be hung.
    Measures approx: 8' 2" wide x 14" tall x 1 3/4" thick.
