    Fresh from a New England estate is this Circa 1930's aluminum Oakite Silver Cleaning Plate.Says in any pan except aluminum disolve one teaspoonful Oakite in two quarts hot water. Place this plate in pan. Pile on it silver to be cleaned .Solution must cover silver. soak until tarnish disapears. remove plate. add water and use solution for dishwashing. Measure 5 1/2" x 3 1/4".
