    Description

    Antique ALBERT NESTLER RIETZ No 23 R/3 Slide Rule W/Box CIRCA 1906-13.?  maybe c 1930.  Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Parcel Select Ground.
    My dad started his career in 1945 in St. Louis after being discharged from the navy following WWII.  An "old timer" then at the office, gave this slide rule to my dad (the new kid) to use, at that time.  The old timer happen to be a German American and brought the slide rule with him as an immigrant.   My dad gave this rule to me when i started my career 43 years ago.  I am cleaning house and hope to find someone else to enjoy this piece of history.  There is evidence this item was manufactured in between 1906 and 1913.  See image.  One potential buyer suggested this was manufactured in 1930.
