Sagem Morpho introduces its new PIV compliant access control terminal. The MA 120W supports the FIPS 201 PIV card and has optional Match-On-Card capability. When configured for a FIPS 201 PIV operational environment, biometric data is stored on the terminal and indexed to the card holder unique identifier or CHUID for matching against the live biometric.
The MA120W offers standard interfaces, such as Wiegand, RS485, Data & Clock or Ethernet, to return the CHUID to the host system. It is also capable of activating a relay when the terminal is configured in stand-alone mode (i.e. to unlock a door).
