1955 PATHON HYDRAULIC SLIDE RULE CALCULATOR &
VINTAGE CONCRETE VOLUME COMPUTER
This week on EBay we are offering up 2 different old 1950s slide rule calculating devices. A vintage 1955 Hydraulic Pump Engine double sided slide rule calculator and a vintage Concrete Volume Calculator.
The Hydraulic slide rule calculator was made for the Pathon Manufacturing Company of
Cincinnati
, Ohio.
One side is used to calculate the safe maximum stroke distance for a particular size of hydraulic cylinder.
The other is used to determine the motor size, in Horsepower, needed for different sized cylinders, with different length strokes and different Gallon per Minute flow requirements. Or something like that.
Made by the Perrygraf Company in Maywood, Illinois and given away to contractors by the A.L. Hacker Company of Towson, Maryland.
Condition is fantastic. Clean and bright. No marks, stains, writing or damage. Perfect working condition.
The other slide rule is a vintage Concrete Volume Computer. Made for the Koder Construction Company. It's a cool old, slide-rule tool for quickly figuring how much Concrete you need for projects.
It is also in clean fantastic condition. See Pictures.
These 2 vintage slide rule computers might be useful to someone who works Concrete and Cement, or Works with Hydraulics, Steam Engines or just as an Engineering collectible.
Hopefully someone out there will want these for their
collection
or they would make an interesting piece for a Steampunk display.
